Man Kills Cousin After Finding Him Bedding His Muzukuru Wake

The Zimbabwe Republic Police has revealed that they have arrested a Mbembesi man after he reportedly struck his cousin with a knobkerrie on the head leading to his death in July this year.

It is alleged that Roy Ndzombane, 46, found the now deceased Mphathisi Masoka, 43, having sexual intercourse with his niece leading to the tragic event.
Taking to their Twitter page, the ZRP wrote:

In a related case of murder, Police in Mbembesi arrested Roy Ndzombane (46) after he stuck his cousin, Mphathisi Masoka (43) with a knobkerrie on the head on 24/09/21 at Mahawana Village, Mbembesi after he found him having sexual intercourse with his niece.

The victim died whilst admitted at Mpilo Hospital on 26/07/21.

The ZRP also reported that they have arrested five men in connection with a murder case in which the victim died at his home last Sunday.
Circumstances surrounding the case have not yet been revealed.

Benjamin Mapondera (45), Moses Nhamo (51) Joshua Mahuni (48) Itel Mujere (43) and Daniel Nyamupingidza (43) have been nabbed following the death of Tendai Maruwa (33) at his home in Ushewekunze.

In other news, iHarare reported that a drunk man from Hope fountain is reported to have killed himself in a dynamite accident.

37-year-old Nhlalo Moyo who was allegedly suffering from a mental problem died after he reportedly blew himself up with dynamite in his bedroom.

Confirming the incident to Cite, Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube said the incident happened on Friday at around 3 pm.
Circumstances surrounding the case have not yet been revealed.
