A drunk Masvingo man was severely assaulted, robbed and left for dead near Chevron Hotel last night whilst coming from a club in the CBD. The man regained consciousness this morning and was taken to Masvingo Central Police Station where he was referred to Masvingo Provincial Hospital. The incident happened less than a week after Mike Bhungeni, a Masvingo Poly student died after being stabbed by armed robbers near Ndarama High School.
