Sir Wicknell bashes "monster" Sonja’
Businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo has dismissed claims made by his ex-wife Sonja in videos circulated on Thursday alleging that he wanted her back, saying he is “happily married and at peace.”
In a statement issued while celebrating his first wedding anniversary overseas, Chivayo described the allegations as “bizarre and profoundly outrageous.”
“I have absolutely no intention, whether now or at any point in the future, of reuniting with my ex-wife under any circumstances,” he said. “That chapter of my life is closed and historically concluded.”
Chivayo said suggestions of a possible reconciliation or polygamous arrangement were “completely false and laughable,” adding that he is focused on his current marriage and business commitments.
“I am fully content and completely at peace with my amazing wife. Any suggestion that I intend to bring my ex-wife back into my life is absurd,” he said.
In a scathing remark, Chivayo added: “I do not revisit chapters that nearly broke me simply because somebody else has failed to move on.”
He said his only remaining link with Sonja relates to co-parenting their children.
“My relationship with her begins and ends at co-parenting our children — and it goes no further than that. Please stand guided accordingly and allow me to enjoy my anniversary in peace,” Chivayo said.
