Zimbabwe is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Dr Goodnow Machadu, a medical doctor who was practicing in Bulawayo, following a fatal road traffic accident that occurred today.
According to initial reports, the vehicle Dr Machadu was travelling in crashed into a tree under circumstances that are still being investigated. Tragically, he was not alone — his wife, who was travelling with him, also lost her life in the same accident.
The news has sent shockwaves through the medical community and beyond, with colleagues, patients, friends, and family struggling to come to terms with the devastating loss. Dr Machadu was known as a dedicated healer who devoted his life to saving others, only for his own life to be cut short in such a cruel and unexpected manner.
