Constable Blessed Moyo has been arrested for murdering a person he had apprehended and throwing his body in a blair toilet behind the station . He tortured the suspect who was accused of stealing using plastics,a shambok and sent woman who had accused him away saying he would send thief to
Bulawayo but this was the last time he was seen alive .It is unclear is he tortured him further after this which might have caused the suspect to lose his life but after he died he panicked mand threw the body in a latrine.A skull and bones were discovered on the 22 May in the toilet behind the station and
some officers knew that this could be the man last seen in Constable Blessed ‘s care.He has been arrested and charged with murder.Heartbreaking 💔😠...our deepest condolences to the Suspect's family. Rest in peace Man. As for the police officer, hey, he is so young, probably extreme fear and panic. He was obviously inexperienced. Witnessing and being responsible for an accidental death could have led him to bury the body, potentially motivated by a desire to avoid legal repercussions. I feel for him. He just wanted to protect his career, or cope with the overwhelming emotions of the situation. He needs counseling and an eye in prison or he will end up taking his life too. Shame. him. They should not leave young officers unsupervised. It's unfortunate we do not know the relationship between the Officer and the Accuser or witness. Maybe there as a desire to please the other part.
