Madam Boss has reignited her long-running feud with fellow comedienne Mai TT, accusing her of being obsessed and desperate for attention. In a heated public exchange, Madam Boss claimed Mai TT thrives on provoking her to stay relevant, sparking renewed interest in their bitter rivalry.
The latest fallout was sparked when Mai TT threw shade at Madam Boss by referring to her as “Beyoncé wekutemu,” a sarcastic Shona term loosely translating to “a knockoff Beyoncé.” The remark was seen as a direct attack on Madam Boss, who recently underwent cosmetic enhancements, reportedly drawing inspiration from the global pop icon Beyoncé.
In an unfiltered interview with Standard Style, a visibly frustrated Madam Boss pulled no punches. She alleged that Mai TT had been envious of her from the very beginning of their careers.“From way back, from when we started, she has always wanted to be me and has always hated me,” Madam Boss said. “This woman needs to go to rehab and get help. She’s been to jail, so she has a lot of trauma. Jail is no joke.”While Madam Boss acknowledged that some people are imprisoned unfairly, she was quick to point out that in Mai TT’s case, her crimes were well-documented and publicly known.
“She is a fraudster—both locally and internationally—and I have no business associating with such people,” she added.
