Former Agriculture Secretary Testifies in Goat Scandal Trial
HARARE – Former Agriculture Secretary John Basera has told the court that only 3,000 goats were delivered out of the 600,000 ordered under a government livestock program. He was testifying in
the ongoing fraud trial of businessmen Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu. The two are accused of misappropriating funds meant for the project. The case continues.
