WOMAN KILLS GRANDDAUGHTER, COOKS, EAT FLESH: POLICE
Police in Chegutu have arrested a 52-year-old woman, Veronica Mudzipuri, in connection with a suspected ritualistic murder case involving her four-year-old granddaughter, Tawanayasha Kadhene, in Shurugwi, reports ZBC.
According to police reports, Mudzipuri, an artisanal miner, allegedly poisoned the minor by lacing her drink with a maize pesticide pill.
Following the child’s death, Mudzipuri is said to have cut flesh from the victim’s cheek, mixed it with herbs prescribed by a traditional healer, before cooking and consuming the concoction.
