According to reports, Lovemore left Powerhouse Bus Station in Johannesburg at around 8:00 PM on the day of the incident. After arriving home, his wife says he later stepped out to spend time with friends. In the early hours of the morning, at approximately 2:00 AM, Lovemore was shot as he was entering his gate upon returning home.
Lovemore worked as a promoter at Imperial Lane, a bus company where colleagues describe him as hardworking and dedicated. His sudden passing has left family, friends, and coworkers devastated, with many calling for justice and answers as investigations continue.
