ZIMBABWE — A heartbreaking tragedy has taken a disturbing turn after the family of a pregnant teenage girl who died allegedly refused to bury her, instead dumping her coffin at the home of a 17-year-old boy believed to have impregnated her.
The incident has left the community in shock, with many describing the scenes as painful, chaotic, and deeply emotional, as grief quickly turned into anger and confrontation.
⚰️ Coffin Left at Boy’s Family Home
According to community sources, the girl’s family transported her coffin to the boy’s homestead and left it there, insisting that his family take responsibility for burial arrangements.
“Vakasiya chitunha pamba pemukomana,” said a local resident.
“Vakanga varamba kumuviga.”
The dramatic move reportedly sparked panic and distress at the boy’s home, with neighbors gathering as tensions escalated.
