Two young British nationals sentenced to 6 years in Zimbabwe for cannabis case

 

Two British nationals, Tihaise Darlin Elisha (18) and Taylor Tamara Simone (20), have been given six-year sentences each in Zimbabwe after authorities found cannabis in their luggage at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport.

 

 

 

 

 

The two arrived on May 1 aboard Ethiopian Airways Flight ET 873. Acting on helpful information, CID Drugs and Narcotics Unit officers searched their suitcases and found 53 packets of cannabis.

 

 

 

 

 

The Harare Magistrates’ Court handled their case and delivered the sentence. They were initially given nine years, but three years were suspended, so they will now serve six years each.Mnangagwa u are now playing with fire u better stop that ship and let those man go or u will regret 1 day
