On 16 June 2025, the Tshwane Metro Police and SAPS arrested a Zimbabwean woman and her Nigerian husband for human trafficking and forcing women to make online porn0graphy. Police found the woman in Gezina, Pretoria North, and she led them to a house where four women aged 18 to 38, three South Africans and one Malawian, were being made to perform online s€x shows using large screens and cameras.
The women said the Zimbabwean woman kept their ID documents and claimed to be their employer. She was arrested on the spot, and later her husband was also arrested at a different place. Both are being held at a police station and may face more charges as the investigation continues.
