Heartbreaking Mapfumo Auraiwa

Heartbreaking Story? | Mr Walter Mapfumo was working as a security guard at ZAOGA Church in Marlborough, along Harare Drive.

On 15 March, while he was on duty, a group of armed robbers climbed over the perimeter wall and attack€d him. They tried to take him hostage, but he resisted.

The robbers then remov€d both of his eyes and went on to steal money from the church. Before leaving, they stabb€d Mr Mapfumo severaI times in the chest, leading to his d€ath.

It is truly heartbreaking to lose such a hardworking man in this way. May his soul rest in peace.Went through the same ordeal last year June...was attacked at work when on night shift but luckily enough they didn't beat me. But the whole experience left me so traumatised that sometimes I have flashbacks and always on edge.

The robbers were caught, went to court and were acquitted for lack of evidencexem guards should know that at times its better to be alive and be able to identify the robbers or describe them to the police... there is no need yekufira mari isiri yako and most companies are insured, mari ikatorwa nema robbers vanongoidzorerwa ne insurance company but hupenyu haudzorereke.
