In 2017, Grace Mugabe assaulted Gabriella Engels with an extension cord at a hotel in Sandton.
The incident happened after Mrs Mugabe found Ms Engels in a hotel room with her two sons, Robert and Chatunga.
She was never arrested. On the day she was supposed to appear in court, she flew back to Harare.
Because of this case, she has an outstanding arrest warrant in South Africa. This means she cannot travel to South Africa to support her son, Chatunga Mugabe, who was arrested for allegedly shooting his employee at his house in Hyde Park.
