woman identified as Berlinda, was tragically shot and killed near Jackson Square on King Street West—between MacNab and James Streets—in Downtown Hamilton, Toronto, around 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. A man who was also shot in the incident sustained injuries.
A distraught Ghanaian woman at the scene tearfully shared that Berlinda had only stepped out to pick up a few items from the market.😭
