Contractors at the National Sports Stadium have today begun working on the turf.
They are removing the old grass and replacing with new, the target is to finish ahead of Zimbabwe's next home game in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda on September 8.
The installation of bucket seats was completed recently while electronic turnstiles have been erected, among the many renovations taking place at the venue.
