TRAGIC?; TOP OFFICIAL FOUND DEAD: South Africa’s Ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa, has died in Paris, France. Mthethwa’s body was found at the Hyatt Hotel, where, according to reports, he died from a fall from the 22nd floor.

 

 

 

 

 

The South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) has confirmed the death of Ambassador Nkosinathi Emmanuel "Nathi" Mthethwa in Paris, France.

 

 

 

 

​According to French media reports, his body was found at the Hyatt Hotel, and he is believed to have died from a fall, with reports citing the 22nd floor. French authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

 

 

 

 

 

​Ambassador Mthethwa had a distinguished career, including serving as South Africa's Minister of Police and Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture before his appointment as Ambassador to France.
