| Our Jobs Are in Danger – Zimbabwean Cruise Ship Workers Need Your Help! βπΏπΌ
Over 10,000 Zimbabweans work on cruise ships around the world. The money they earn helps more than 50,000 people back home. This money pays for school fees, hospital bills, food, rent, and supports families.
But now, all of this is at risk. π
π The C1/D visas that allow us to work have been reduced from 2 years to only 3 months. This makes it very hard for us to keep our jobs.
If we don’t get at least a 6-month visa, many of us will lose our jobs, be sent home, and our families will suffer. We are kindly asking the U.S. government, especially President Trump, to think about us and give Zimbabwean seafarers at least 1-year visas. π
π We are also asking Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to act now and protect our people.
This is not just about jobs — it’s about children’s futures, education, health, and survival.
