SAD? | Reports say that Zanu PF Chegutu councillor Gift Konjana has been found dead.
Konjana was an MDC Alliance candidate in the 2018 elections before later joining Zanu PF. He went missing under unclear circumstances at the end of February 2026, and his family reported the case to Pfupajena Police Station.
Since then, his family had been searching for him until his body was discovered.
A WhatsApp screenshot circulating on social media, from a group called Alaska Legends, shows a message sharing the news with other members. Konjana was also part of this group.
The cause of death is not yet known. More details are expected to follow.
