100 Zimbabweans Arrested No Papers In South Africa

More than 100 Zimbabweans seeking shelter after xenophobic attacks in Addo were arrested on Sunday. Some had been evacuated to a safe space in Gqeberha and others were camping out at Addo police station when they were arrested by Home Affairs officials for violating immigration laws. The attacks in Addo last weekend left at least four people dead and more than ten injured. Hundreds of families fled their homes. According to the Zimbabwe Migrants Support Network (ZiMSN) chairperson Chris Mapingure, 127 people have now opted for voluntary repatriation after appearing in the Kirkwood Magistrates' Court on Monday. Zim UK Preacher Walter Chahwanda Asungwa Nyaya Yekubhinya Vana

LIVERPOOL – UK based Zimbabwean gospel singer, model and pastor, Walter Chahwanda (33) currently in remand prison, has been charged with additional offences as part of an ongoing sexual offences investigation by Merseyside Police. Chahwanda who leads the Walter Chahwanda Ministries was initially charged with “rape; assault by penetration and sending photograph/film of genitals to cause alarm, distress or humiliation.” As reported previously by waltermagaya, Chahwanda of Plemonstall Court in Chester, was arrested on Thursday 13 March 2025 and before that, Thursday 27 February 2024, and charged with sexual offences including rape. Ukabatwa Ne Musombodhiya or Kambwa 5yrs Chikurubhi

The Zimbabwean government has officially banned the production and distribution of illicit alcoholic brews, commonly known as “musombodhiya” or “kambwa,” through a new legal instrument aimed at curbing substance abuse in the country. The prohibition was enacted under Statutory Instrument 62 of 2025, an amendment to the Harmful Liquids Act, and was issued by the Minister of Home Affairs, Kazembe Kazembe. The notice, titled Harmful Liquids Act (Amendment of Schedule to Act) Notice, 2025, adds to the existing list of banned substances under the Act. Zimbabwean Care Worker Arrested in Leeds Assault Drama

Leeds, UK — A Zimbabwean man, Fungai Muzenda, has been arrested in a shocking incident that has rocked a Leeds care home after he violently attacked his wife, Egenia Muzenda, and an 83-year-old male patient she was taking care of. Authorities say the attack was fueled by jealousy and rage after Fungai allegedly discovered that Egenia was having an affair with the elderly resident.
